Emily is a strategic HR partner with a deep appreciation for the art and intention of hospitality. Her career has been spent in high-growth startups, editorial institutions, and complex organizations building expertise in employee relations, investigations, policy architecture, and the kind of people decisions that quietly define a brand.
But her fascination has always been with the places that elevate service into an experience. As a devoted student of fine dining and private club culture, and through close friendships within the industry, she has spent years alongside some of the most respected operators in the business offering guidance on culture, structure, and people strategy rooted in trust, curiosity, and instinct.
Baum & Co. grew from the realization that these businesses deserve HR that matches their standard of care.
