About Emily Baum
Emily is a strategic HR partner with a deep appreciation for the art and intention of hospitality. While her in-house career at high-growth startups and editorial institutions (from supporting food critics at New York Magazine to advising leadership at Eater), her fascination has always been with the places that elevate service into an experience.
Over the years, she has quietly supported some of the most respected names in hospitality, offering guidance on culture, structure, and people strategy to teams behind Eleven Madison Park’s NoMad properties, as well as The Surf Lodge in Montauk and Olmsted in Brooklyn. Her advisory work - rooted in friendship, curiosity, and instinct -helped shape people decisions in dining rooms where every detail matters.
